Overview

langM (“the App”) is a vocabulary builder that captures translations from share sheet, and turns them into spaced-repetition flashcards. All your data stays on your device. We do not operate any servers that collect, store, or process your personal information.

What Data We Collect

Data Stored Locally (On-Device Only)

This data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device and is never transmitted to any external server.

Data Shared with Third Parties

Except as required for the automated translation and sentence generation features listed above, we do not share your clipboard content, flashcards, or vocabulary data with any third party. During “Internet Share”, your flashcards are transmitted directly (peer-to-peer) to the receivers and do not pass through our servers.

Children’s Privacy

langM is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time:

Individual cards: Swipe to delete or use the card editor
All data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data permanently

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we have no server-side database:

Access: Your data is always accessible within the app
Deletion: Uninstall the app or delete individual cards

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
